We're up and running again!

I've been so tardy, first of all we went on holiday and then we moved house, our broadband has only just been reconnected and so i'm back and trying to update my blog. We had an amazing holiday in Dorset, but had to come home early so that we could move house. Slightly stressful but all seems like a distant memory now.

The Knitting and stitching show!

Great news, i will be showing my work at the Knitting and Stitching show at Alexandra Palace from the 8th to the 11th of october http://www.twistedthread.com. I am extremely excited but also quite worried as i only have 3 months (less if accounting for framing) to make work. Sometimes i can spend 3 month on one piece! Will have to pull my finger out and get William working on all non crafty items. One of which is updating my website. I hope to have a new simpler website up and running in time for the show so watch this space. Sadly i won't be able to submit any work in the Westward Ho! and Bideford annual summer exhibtion as i need every little piece of work i can get my mitts on. I haven't been taking my camera out with me so i just thought i'd post a nice picture. Enjoy.

Happy Birthday Mimsy and Sophie

Just thought i would post a picture of this amazing cake made by Lucy for Mim and Sophs birthday. It tasted even better then it looked! It was a very intense and dense chocolate sponge.

Bovey Tracey

I'm sorry if i've been a bit tardy with updating my blog but have been so busy since we've got back. Allotment has gone mental, house viewings, working at the gallery and sorting out my own work leaves me with little time to do nice little things like writing this blog. Well Bovey was a great success, we sold lots of pictures and met lots of lovely peeps. Its lovely getting pats on the back. So many talented people down there in deepest darkest devon, i couldn't resist and ended up acquiring a lovely KEN EARDLEY jug http://www.yellowhouseart.com/artists/artists_info.asp?urn=58, a HANNE RYSGAARD milk carton http://www.blogger.com/www.hannerysgaard.com and an amazing piece of CLEO MUSSI'S WORK http://www.mussimosaics.co.uk/.
I didn't take any other photo's and im kicking myself now as there were so many good photo opportunities that i missed.

Red Shoes

Red Shoes and looking at my garden make me truly happy.

Craft inventory

I'm feeling slightly panicky now, only a week to go and my pics haven't come back from the framers yet. Went through my stock this morning, thinking i might have to sew some more brooches and baby cats. If you can't make it down to Bovey from the 5th to the 7th of June then you can buy them here.http://www.bonbiforest.com, go to shop and Victoria Lindo on the left hand side.

Ronaldo Moon. I got this quote off of a weird japanese cartoon about cats. I've been accepted as a full member of the Westward ho! and Bideford art society, i hope to submit some pieces of work into their summer exhibition in July, watch this space.
